Terms
profstopick collects what students say about professors and shows it next to the class schedule, so you can choose a section with your eyes open. Using the site means agreeing to what is below.
What a comment is
Every comment is one student’s opinion of one class at one point in time. We do not verify them and we do not endorse them. A score is a summary of those opinions, not an assessment of anyone’s teaching. Read a professor’s comments, not just their number.
What you may not post
No personal information about anyone other than yourself. No accusations of illegal conduct. No slurs or harassment. No naming students, staff or family members. Comments are reviewed before they appear, and anything in this list is rejected.
Getting something removed
If a comment names you, misrepresents you, or should not be here, write to us and we will take it down while we look at it. Professors may ask for a page about them to be reviewed at any time. We keep rejected comments in a private audit log — removed from the site, retained so we can show what was actioned and when.
The paid tier
A Season Pass buys advisor questions for one enlistment season. It does not buy influence over any score, ranking or comment, and it never will.
Availability
Schedule and section data comes from your university’s registrar and can be out of date or wrong. Always confirm against your official enlistment system before you enlist.
