she’s so kind, motherly, and when she teaches parang nagkkwento sya!! got her for microbio, A/B+ with minimum effort!! her quiz types are always changing so u dont know what to expect sometimes!! for example we had a quiz where she just asked what we learned from the class 😅 her exams are ok as long as u listen and take down notes!! all in all, i suggest u take her!! no regrets, luv maam pam ❤️more

Very kind and teaches well for lec! I felt that she taught in a way that was really digestible and it reflected very well in the tests, so it was B+ to A with minimum effort. She’s the GOAT and you will really enjoy microbiology under her. Will add my review for lab here too! All the activities for lab were easy because she demonstrated each activity well and so there was minimal confusion during lab times. She’s very motherly so she cares very much for her students. This means she takes lab safety very seriously so do be very careful during lab like avoiding breakage and cross-contamination because she will get mad, but she just means the best. She doesn’t get mad at all but don’t get her mad. Overall you’ll be in good hands!!more

hi for any second sem students taking sir marlan easily my favorite prof of the sem! my lab group got perfect in almost all his lab reports, except for 1 where we didn’t read instructions properly. so note lang to really read his rubrics and his lab report instructions his moving exams are tolerable if you study an average amount, easy if you study weeks in advance, and hard if you idgaf them. they carry a lot of weight, so be sure to be mindful of how you perform in these tests BUT! he gave us practice exams that had incentives if you scored a certain amount of points (so not doing so well on a moving exam isn’t the end all be all), and gave other bonuses (attending org activities, etc) overall would go for sir marlan as a zoo prof!! he’s intimidating at first but he’s actually very friendly, very responsive on gmail, and very supportive of your learning journeymore
