Hi I had her onsite for the second sem!
She’s nice naman, like she doesn’t rly get mad at or scold the class. She also takes well to whenever ppl recite in her class, like she’ll always try to relate it back to the lesson or add smth onto what was said.
However, she’s a bit soft spoken and doesn’t have much “command” over the class in terms of rly getting ppl to listen to her, so it may be hard to pay attention or hear her. Recitation from students is also important in her class and is kinda necessary for the lesson to progress, so that may be an issue depending on how much the class recites. Lastly, she’s medj strict w deadlines in that she doesn’t move deadlines easily and there’s significant deductions if you submit late :< but she usually starts classes w a sched of what’s gonna happen in the current and coming week so it’s easy stay on top of things naman.
Her module readings are medj long and a bit hard to grasp :< but you’ll need to understand them as the requirements in her class will often need reference to those readings. It’s jus 1-2 readings per module naman and there’s only 4 modules iirc, so it’s not a lot of readings at least. Maams lectures help in that the concepts in the readings are discussed in class in a way that’s easier to understand, tho not as comprehensively as it is in the reading.
For the reqs, there’s class participation, a few DBs (this I’m not 100% sure iirc), an indiv paper, a collage, a photo zine, and a group debate + debate paper for the finals. For class participation there’s class activities that count towards that ata, so I’m not too sure if recitation mismo is graded. I remember the indiv paper, photo zine, and debate finals making up a significant portion of ur final grade, so try to do well in those! Personally I didn’t find this load too heavy, but I think maams class is on the heavier end of ArtAp classes in terms of reqs.
On how she grades, I feel she more or less grades fairly naman, like the minimum grade ppl in our class would get for her reqs is B, and she sticks by her rubrics naman. I never did consultation w her, so I can’t say on how helpful that is :< Overall, you’ll definitely have to put in effort in this class to do well, but it wasn’t one of the classes I stressed over. B+-able for sure if you put in the effort, then siguro A-able w lots of effort.
Some tips nalang:
- get good groupmates! I remember one of our graded activities being a groupwork, and ur finals is also done by group, so make sure ur group is good. You can choose ur group naman so there’s that :>
- Beadle gets a slight advantage for the debate hehe. The beadle’s group can choose their debate topic and position before the rest, which honestly helps as some of the topics are easier than others + it’s first come first serve for the remaining groups.
- Rly understand the module readings as maam will legit ask u to reference concepts from the readings in each of her reqs.
Anyways, kayang kaya yan! This class is definitely less stressful than ur majors hehe. Hope this helps :>

She's a bit demanding with her requirements, more writing heavy than focused on art. Never saw anyone get a perfect score on her assessments either! She also gave us two quizzes and two papers. We also had two group debates (one was for our final exam).
Barely any asynch and always has lectures too. Also has a lot of readings so I mean it when very writing based yung subject niya more than doing art.
Overall, try to get on her goof side. She's a bit strict but I think depending on how much she likes you, she'll be more lenient.
It's clear she knows what she's talking about but it is a bit hard to understand her. For me, not an easy A but I think with effort kaya naman!more

hi! had her 2 semesters ago, hybrid class. Her workload is okay naman, but her standards are really high. My best advice is to read the readings (which are really long and some of them are also hard to understand) before class. Kahit i-BS mo lang recitation, if you have a vague idea of the readings and relate it to her questions, that's good. She rarely gives a grade of A in her papers but her class is A-able naman. She's also actually super nice, you just need to recite a lot and relate your papers to the readings. All in all, not really the worst prof ever but I was stressed sa class niya HAHAHA.more
