Take Aristotle! Super fun and engaging. Quizzes are identification pero open notes. I guess downside lang is you can't use gadgets during class. ++ If your standing before finals is a B+ pataas, you won't have to take the final exam.more

Vouch for Ms. Phill, her lectures are very interesting and you'll really learn a lot from her. For her assessments, she makes sure that her students are ready for them too. Her workload is very manageable as well, and as long as you listen in her class and read the readings, you'll be able to get a high grade.more

had him for fili 11 last sem. in general, im super bad in filipino so i dont find fil easy:/ but he was quite lenient w my bad grammar (for fili 11 atleast). hes medj makwento like sobrang random + he likes to joke alot...just laugh nalang even if it isnt funny para di awkward. there are times his voice is super hina and he talks fast sometimes so i end up just not understanding anything and gave up taking down notes. ++ we had quizzes almost every meeting (sumtimes super mema yung questions tho) and he’s strict w time cos he takes attendance agad. dont slack off in his subj and show him ure trying ur best (and dont get on his bad side... ) he’s a nice guy in general but i couldnt keep up w his teaching style lang talaga. he curves for sure cos idk how i ended up w a B in his subjmore

hes boring...... but he tries i guess his readings are not heavy but u will have quizzes on them so u will need to read. bawal gadgets so u will need to take notes.. idm but he has some slides parang fully taken from the readings (huge blocks of text lol). for his LTs u have to print at least 2 readings na u will have to write an essay on in class. di ko maalala if may multiple choice din but i think there was?? he has short assignments on canvas. just dont bullshit it bc he really reads them. theyre super easy tbh, i got perfect scores cramming them, but i remember after the first one, he told the class na halatang minema lang ng iba or something like that. hes just very very very mid to me 🤷 he was so boring it actually pissed me off HAHAHAH kaya di ako naganahan na mag-effort sa klase niya kaya i got a B+ but i THINK he can be A-able. after half of the sem, i didn't even listen to him anymore and barely took notes. i just relied on the readings + canvas modules. he really does try to make the class engaging naman but ehhh he's pretty fluent in filipino and will use full tagalog so baka mahirapan ka if not fluent. take this with a grain of salt bc i'm not rly sure abt this since i'm fluent namanmore

I LOVE SIR CERDA!!! yes his lectures are boring and the concepts he discusses in class aren’t really the coverage of his tests but he grades really really high and is so lenient as a Fili prof. He allowed us to speak in English, allowed us to bring English copies of the reading for the long test, gave us plenty of bonuses too. His quizzes aren’t even something to worry about because they’re usually only 5 items long and solely based on important info in the readings like important dates and events. So just keep those in mind when studying for his tests. I never fully read his readings (coming from someone who is not fluent) and I perfected all his quizzes. 10/10 prof and as someone who got enlisted with a super strict prof in 2nd semester I’d say sir cerda spoiled us LOL.more
