gonna copy paste this from my previous review on him in the online setting hehe
would not recommend him for the online class setting. i dont know what everyone else is saying, but he's very intrusive with online classes, pointing out random things in your backgrounds and calling out your miscellaneous stuff. his quizzes are weird and "objective" (but...it really isnt). overall a wildcard to take the quizzes HAHAHA. he's very particular, hates getting emails, hates extra 'unnecessary' work, and his synch classes consist of a full hour and a half of kwentuhan (from him only) where you ask questions and he answers. no audio visual aspect to it. got a good grade in the class and i learned naman (though i read all the rdgs), but would NOT recommend for the tribulation that you go through for it :| especially since random pa lahat ng groups so if ure with crammers, good luckmore

He's B+ able and he provides readings for the class naman. Heads up that it's a Lot of readings. Be reassured that he publishes his pandemic-era zoom lectures on the topic on Canvas. During my sem in his class, he gave us a lesson plan sa syllabus pero di naman sinundan. He's a very passionate prof with high expectations, really and in a lot of onsite classes he makes the class huddle into smaller groups to discuss a part of the lesson and present it. Maraming class group activities.
also expect that you will be asked about personal ethical dilemmas I.e. traumadump a lot, sociopolitical awareness is also important for this class so yeah keep caught up in social issuesmore

- grades low in post-labs
- quizzes before every experiment which are heavily based on the lab manual + slight application especially for reaction mechanisms
- has a passive-aggressive type vibe when u make an error (which can be understandable since ure dealing w chemicals but still ouch)
- received our grades for our first 2 prelab reports early but then the rest of grades we received them near the end of the semester
- gaslighter, sometimes he says he told the class regarding certain items or if the reports are done indiv or by partners even if he didn't say anything
- stacked our deadlines of 2 postlabs, 1 pre-lab, and 1 worksheet in 3 days
- even tho the quizzes can be difficult, he's lenient + gives bonuses
- pretty fun person to talk to
- had a bonus activity wherein we get a random song n we have to sing it that's like +15 points i believe or a student can be exempted if theyre the top scorer of a worksheet
- some experiments he changed it to by group or by pair
- made some indiv post labs into by partner or by group
- 1 or 2 lab reports he made them perfect as long as certain reqs were met
- bought us pizza at the end of the semester
overall, academic-wise, it'll be difficult to A or even B+. try to know what he wants to see in ur reports before u reach the middle of the sem cos he wont give comments (in canva) until the latter part of the sem. personally, lab w sir fritz was pretty fun naman. he just has high standards.more
