I dont know how she does it now but two intersessions ago for Histo12 she actually informs us beforehand 3 possible essay questions for us to prepare, then we answer one question she chose. The other portion is mulcho.more

Took her way back in 2023. Her long tests were usually a mix of multiple choice and an essay. For the multiple choice part, it really helps to pay close attention to her discussions because she sometimes mentions things that aren’t in the PPTs. I used to type out everything she said during class (lmfao) and noticed that she actually includes those in some of the test items. Aside from studying the PPTs and readings, listening during lectures really makes a difference. Unfortunately for me, I missed one class and totally flunked an item that I swear wasn’t anywhere in the slides. Mataas naman siya magbigay sa essay from my experience, just answer well lang.more

difficult, but maam's so kind and sweet that I don't even mind locking in for her exams (and getting a low grade ily maam)
negative
it’s pretty hard like more than half our class failed her midterms 😭 shes very specific talaga so u need to study the readings and ppts

multiple choice and essay
you can survive through her ppts but it’s better to review the readings

Took her last sem. Multiple choice + 1 essay, i think it's either a 25-15 or 30-10 split. There are 3 possible questions which she provides beforehand, but only two are actually used. The question you must answer depends on how she split the class.
The exams themselves are not too hard. You can get by with the ppt or notes alone. It's the essay which can get tricky, since it requires a more intimate knowledge of the reading to properly argue your pointmore

she’s easy imo or maybe i just rlly enjoyed her class lol but for us we had 2-3 exams (2025, 2nd sem) and i wouldn’t say they’re hard but u rlly have to READ all the materials provided for that exam, with that my tips would be:
- on essay: know ur argument well when doing the essay, make thesis statement before the exam since ure already lucky in a sense that she’d give three questions prior
- on multiple choice: make sure to read the materials like i said and know the names of the authors (u also need this since u need to cite authors for ur essay part) and some of her choices are tricky but yes u rlly have to read between lines
- bonus: attend any of the events that can bear addtl pts for the exam since it’s a big chunk din!
id share my reviewer with you but idk if im allowed since i referenced a lot from her materials 🥹more
