hi! not for KRN 12, but I have Sir Marco for KRN 11 this intersession. I took him without expectations but it might have been the best decision I have made. His lectures are easy to follow, and you always have a chance to practice what you have learned with some examples right after the lesson was taught. Since we are only 5 people in the class, all of us gets to recite and practice. Moreover, the assessments are pretty paced well for intersession and we just finished our last lesson! His writing exercises are relatively easy if you understood the topic and studies for it. As well as his other assessments such as loud reading and discussion boards. He uploads his slides and the modules in canvas are pretty comprehensive as well. He encourages participation tlga so make sure to recite and participate! I haven't taken his final exam yet but it's a simultaneous written and oral exam. Overall, A-able naman siya :)) He is fun so I hope you take him 🫶more

Had her for BIO 12.01, and it was a pretty good experience! As someone who struggles a lot with science, I think she explained things very clearly. As one of the other commenters said, she's very experienced, and I think that shows in how she paces the lectures - she often maximizes the time while knowing how far in the lesson to go without overloading students with information. Tests were not easy, but doable with a lot of review and note-taking.more

had her for bio 120.01 and i really liked her! very seasoned prof—prepared and knowledgeable. you really have to listen though and review well for tests, but they arent unreasonably hard. idk if youll catch her when shes in a bad mood or in a good mood but overall great prof for microbio :)) B/A-able depending on ur effortmore

hi! i didn’t have her for 10.01, but just like the other comment, had her for 12.01 literally just this semester HAHAHA but personally she’s incredibly chill! her slides are very straightforward and so is the way she teaches. sometimes she’d ask the class if you’d prefer to have it asynchronous and she’d provided recorded lectures from the pandemic. however, in her lecture recordings, she adds extra information in her recorded lectures that will pop up in her quizzes and long tests so make sure to watch them we had a quiz for every module and a long tests after every 3 modules. there’s the final class output (social media advocacy) and also a group reporting the quizzes are around 10 or 15 items. always multiple choice OR true and false or matching type. as for the long tests, they range from 60-70 items (it really depends) and consists of different kinds of test types like multiple choice, true or false, solving, etc. just note that sometimes her true and false is modified hahaha but dw because the nice thing about her is she makes announcements on time. she’s also open to being asked what the test types are miss also acknowledges the fact that some of the topics are really heavy. sometimes she tries to push it, but she usually ends class 15 mins early. even 30 if she’s being generous but one problem I have w her is that she doesn’t really coordinate with our laboratory prof when it comes to deadlines so you really have to clarify w her!!more

edit: i have to mention na i had bio 12.01 so i'm not sure if similar yung content and others, i'd say easy b with normal effort! she's very straightfoward with the lessons and makes them pretty easy to digest! her tests are also pretty manageable as long as you go over the lesson again (literally similar lang siya to the lessons) i believe her tests were usually multiple choice, matching type, true or false and application (depending on the lesson, i remember we had to decode a message by figuring out the sequence of dna!) as for other assessments, alam ko they're mostly partnered with lab, so just be diligent and find good groupmates. good luck!more
