Had him for lab, and def B+ or A-able (for lab, not sure for lec). His prelab discussions were pretty easy to understand, he dumbs down topics and asks questions to make sure we understood fully. All I can say is I wish I had him for lecture as well, because I understood more when he taught us than when our orgchem lec did.more

Hi! Had him for Orgchem Lab, you’re in very good hands! Though minsan he’s a bit sabog (but thats only when it comes to announcements & he replies late sa emails) Teaching: Very good prof, super bait niya and he encourages the class to ask questions, he dumbs down the topic so its easier to understand! Grading: Very A-able, got an A for him, he grades high sa mga pre-labs & post-labs, as for his pre-lab quizzes naman, its pretty easy, just listen to what he teaches talaga. Make sure to take notes because he doesn’t upload his powerpoint, as long as you study his powerpoint and what he says you’ll be fine Had a good experience with him for orgchem lab! Would definitely take him again if given the chance, oh and alot of my classmates found him gwapo so if you’re the type of student who gets motivated by that then plus points igmore

had him onsite! his finals were HELL HAHAHAHAH but i think he curves coz im p sure i got a C+ there but my final grade was A. for reqs we had the usual—prelabs, prelab quizzes, and postlabs—which were all v manageable naman. prelabs are due the day before the exp, postlabs are due a week after exps. there r some experiments that don't require postlabs, and overall we only had 3 prelab quizzes. honestly his workload is pretty light! as a prof naman, he's rlly nice! yung side namin sa lab tbh we're v loud and nakikijoin sya sa kalokohan namin HAHAHHA tawa tawa lang sya ganon. his prelab discussions r also rlly easy to understand, nothing too complicated kasi he simplifies everything. i'd say an easy A prof coz i rlly think he curves HAHAHA his finals were deadly but most (if not all) of us got an A! final verdict is take him if ure onsite!! :>more

To add to the ones above: Our class/batch took org chem lec last sem pa and we had the lab one during a separate sem kaya the postlabs were a little difficult because we (at least for me) had to go back to org chem lec concepts discussed noon pa but YES I LOVE HIM I was always the one who stayed with him during class hours on Zoom to perform the experiments and he was very accommodating :> Aside from experiments, we had 2 exercises (which were easy IMO - they were supposed to be papers I think but he said his standards in grading papers are high so we might end up getting low scores so iniba nalang nya HAHAHA). We also had a final exam that was challenging IMO pero kaya naman : DD Grades fairly! Had him for first sem of SY2021-22. His lectures are kinda magulo because he presents with his phone, and the line spacing is kinda weird hahaha. But he uploads all synch classes, and provides ppts. Here are the main requirements for this class. 1. Five Lab-At-Home Activities which all consist of: a. Prelab @20pts (this should be easy perfect because it's just a flowchart and a list of chemicals to be used, safety precautions and first aid measures). b. Actual experiment @10pts (documentation). Yes, you are required to video your experiments, but no need to effort on the editing. Honestly, I just put any music i want hahaha lakas ng trip. Be sure to wear complete lab attire because you will be deducted if you dont. c. Postlab @20pts. Ok so dito di talaga sya nagbibigay ng perfect. Average score ko was around 16 or 17. BTW late sya naggragrade as in like tapos na buong sem tsaka lang sya naggrade. Kung sakali mababa grades nyo rito, huwag mag-panic. Here are the remaining requirements that are easy panghatak. 1. Exercise 1. This 100 points split into two: virtual lab simulation (very easy perfect promise kasi 2 attempts yan). The other is a canvas quiz (mixed with essay, multiple choice). 2. Exercise 2. 100pts also. This is an infographic (yes kami ang nag pioneer and suggest kay sir nyan ur welcome 🙂) instead of a formal presentation and detailed lab report na madadale talaga brains natin. So dahil sa magaling namin na proposal, we split the 5 experiments into 8 groups, and each group will make a simple infographic (repeating experiments will be narrowed down to either concept or actual experiment). Overall: A-able with effort. B+ without effort. PM me for more details.more
