THE ACTUAL BEST PROF EVER (esp for a subject like theo!)
no spoilers on the specific fun stuff bc i think he should be the one to introduce his teaching style/classroom atmosphere and rules butttt:
PROS:
- not strict at all (but make sure to follow the rules that he *does* give, including instructions)
- meaningful in depth discussions, hindi sya textbook-type lessons
- engaging + tells many relevant stories to help with understanding the topics
- encourages students to give their thoughts a lot (no wrong answer)
- ^ recit isnt hard at all as long as you listen
- easy to approach ab anything + very understanding when it comes to difficult personal situations/make up assessments
CONS:
- assessments may be a bit difficult, its hard to gauge what your score will be sometimes
- i think this applies to theo as a subject naman talaga pero readings are KINDA heavy, make sure to have time to read them
- hes very meticulous in grading. as he said to us before: he grades *fairly*, but doesnt necessarily mean high
- pen and paper note taking only (might be a con to some)
- quizzes are unannounced
OVERALL: still very possible to A/B+ imo but i think this depends on the person na! his class is very unique and very fulfilling to be apart of every meeting. he has so much to offer when it comes to life lessons and self reflection points as well so talagang maappreciate mo yung journey mo sa theo 11 w/ him as ur prof 🫶more

depends on your preference! Personally i like him as a prof but may not be your cup of tea:
- is very loud and passionate when he gives his lectures. sometimes he shouts so loud (not angry) and i get shocked lol
- assigns someone to give a reflection presentation every beginning of class
- surprise essay quizzes based on readings! you dont give your opinion but a subjective and straightforward answer
- is sensitive to students being noisy. if your class is too loud he kinda sulks?? doesnt get angry but you can feel the disappointment
Overall a 9/10 prof for me aside from some instances where we dont have the same humor lol but id recommend if you want to really think more deeply about theo past your regular CL class!more
