positive
Ren Yu Hello! May I ask what you recommend to put in the cheat sheets?
neutral
LTs are identification (parang fill in the blanks, multiple choice, etc.) and essays. Yes you bring and make your own cheat sheets

Ren Yu hii! what are his lts like? is it purely essay? and for cheat sheets are we allowed to bring our own?
positiveSTS 10
Had Sir Nat for STS 10 2 years ago. Im not sure if he is still the same since then, but from my experience, saks lang siya imo pero he aint a terror prof at all
PROS: More on the workload cuz no quizzes; just class participation, LT1, LT2, Group project/video. All 4 are 25% each. Regarding deadlines and LT days, he is flexible with moving them naman as long as you inform him asap and the whole class agrees. He lets you have cheat sheets also so make sure you leverage on that. Also, dont leave any blanks on the LTs.
OTHER PROS:
- Appreciates reciters (A LOT): he loves it when people engage in his class through recitations. its part of your class participation rin which is 25% so make sir appreciate you by reciting in his class as much as possible, even when he not calling for recitation.
- Good attendance pulls up your grade: Along with recitation, your attendance matters a lot to your class participation grade. Just keep showing up to class and youll get an even better grade.
- Won't fail anyone: Coming from him mismo, as long as you complete all his requirements on time and show up to class, you wont fail his class. But ofc, still do your best on them.
CONS: More on the teaching style cuz he lacks engagement. All he did was yap about the lessons and didnt entertainingly engage with us. His lectures are focused on engineering and physics stuff since thats his expertise. So if thats not your thing, youll definitely get bored during his class huhu
OTHER CONS:
- Unresponsive: Either he takes days to reply or doesnt reply at all when you message him, especially through canvas. Hes more responsive through email tho, but I recommend you just approach him after class whenever you have concerns.
- Reading heavy: Sir has lots of readings especially for the LTs. Not reading them will just make the LTs even harder for you.
Definitely B/B+ able. Im not an acads guy but still got a B in his class somehow. If you just care about getting a good grade and not about how fun and engaging the class is, then yes get Sir Nat!
