interesting class and discussions, but def not an easy A. requirements nya are a lot of objective quizzes based on the readings, a group presentation on a relevant social issue analyzed via the frameworks discussed, and indiv orals. do not take him if u want a light load but personally learned a lot from this class. he has bonus questions minsan sa quizzes about pop culture

I took him last 2nd sem, 24-25. iirc, we had weekly readings. Each module had a quiz, then we had 1 or 2 papers, and we had 3 major outputs (another paper, group presentation, oral exam). Overall, the class’ workload wasn’t very heavy but not light either. In terms of class discussions, sir teaches pretty clear, and his examples + in-class materials are helpful (he doesn’t upload/send the slides he used tho, so you might need to take down notes). Personality-wise, sir’s chill and kind. I would say A-able with effort. Just make sure to read and digest the readings/go through the assigned materials and you’ll be good.more

He was a pretty strict prof when it comes to presentations. He may come off as a laid back and chill prof but during discussions, he may call out students from an index card (yes we were required to submit one) and was asked a question (sometimes may follow up). I would advise to read at least half of the assigned reading before his class. For orals, he was really generous with the grade lalo na if he sensed that you really studied for it. On the flip side, his follow up questions can be harder than the actual thesis statement itself so really study everything. Would recommend if you like a challenge but not if you want a lighter load. Insightful class and interesting prof.more
