He's awesome if you do your part. He will give you the grade you deserve :) he gives good lectures too but sometimes it can get boring. Just do your part! Read the assigned chapters because he will give quizzes on it :)more

His quizzes are all objective by the way. Pero kaya if you read the book. His lts are tricky though. It's a challenge but he's a great prof overall!

Oh he gives his powerpoints pala but it's just the chapter slides of the book - I still suggest you need to read though because what he asks in the tests are very objective and specific!more

I actually enlisted blindly not knowing that he was a pretty heavy prof to take (like, a few people actually asked me why I took him). The unannounced quizzes were..... crooo but at the end, kaya naman. You'll be surprised by the final grade he'll give you :) in a good way. Also, a good number of people didn't have to take the finals!more

You have to work a lot for his class because it is not easy. I'll bullet it down on why:
1. Aside from the Cog Book given, you'll tackle other chapters from another book about learning and you really need to read, read, read.
2. You need to read EVEN before you discuss the chapter because he usually gives chapter quizzes before the start. He is also fast paced; therefore, he tends to finish one chapter in 2-3 meetings. Sometimes even 1 if he is fast.
3. LTs are all multiple choice but very very tricky but he gives candy during tests.
4. Group requirements are a creative group presentation and a group project (either a project where theoretical concepts are applied or an SLP - depending on your choice).
5. Finals is optional but he'll tell you if you still need to take it or not. For example, you are B+ in pre-final but hindi na kaya mag A, he'll tell you not to take it.
It sounds a lot of work and it really is but I personally loved Sir Boboy because he made the discussions funny and he does care about his students. He has a lot of kwentos especially about his family. He's very OC; that's why he doesn't like to waste time. Just do your part as a student and do not slack off!!!! :)more
