I had her sub for this intersession and this was easily one of my (if not my MOST) favorite classes in my whole Ateneo stay. I was apprehensive at first to take the class, since it was 2.5 hours, but that was the shortest 2.5 hours I've ever been to. Nung first meeting, I was thinking na baka she won't be able to maintain the standard she set that day, but I feel like she was able to maintain that for most of the short semester :'). The way she handles her class is so (basta word na mas malupit pa sa amazing ganern) 😍...
We were asynchronous on Monday and would only meet every Wednesday and Friday. She has a mix of lectures and activities, all of which you'd need to participate in. Personally, I don't like participating or voicing out my thoughts in class, but there's something about her class that would make you do so(?) Tbf, medyo bibo rin section namin, kaya sobrang ganda ng rapport ng class. It's really nice how she takes time to get to know each one of us and how she listens to our ideas, so it's not a one-way mode of learning. As a person, she is very motherly, affirming, and sometimes ma-chika. She's also game sa trip ng klase.
Requirements for her were 3 papers (all of which were quite manageable) and a number of discussion boards, but nothing too difficult naman 😅. She also groups you randomly and these people would be your groupmates for the whole sem. The groups are mostly for discussing/reiterating the concepts you learned in class +++ for the plenty of group activities she prepares. I guess a tip is be ready to bring your competitive/participative spirit in class. May mga ilan pa akong di nabanggit, para surprise HAHAHA... I do think she's A-able with moderate effort and a good grasp of the concepts. Her class was very chill and I feel like I would take her class again if time permits HAHAHA :')more
