She’s a fair grader! Curves once in a while depending on if she likes your class or not. Class average for our class was I think a B+? But thats with a curve

I’ve honestly struggled learning from her lectures because all she does is monologue 🙁 also i’ve never felt so….gaslit by a teacher. 🙁 my group tried to get feedback from her on our outputs but she either is barely available or returns grades late….also her instructions are so malabo but she makes u feel like it’s your fault for not following (at least for me and my group lol)more

took her during my freshie year (2023-2024) and yes she does!!!! was so surprised because i predicted around a B/B+ but a lot of us ended up getting an A. i think if she remembers you and you're on her good side, she will:)more

Anonymous member surprise 🥹 + she submitted our grades super late so we only saw them over a week after grades were supposed to come out. so it was such a pleasant surprise because she rly brought our whole qpi up! HAHAHHAmore

I was pre enlisted in her class last year she’s really chill and nice but I agree on the comment here that dont get on her bad side. Make sure to read before class because she gets annoyed when she notices her students doesnt use the materials she provides. I think we did about 2 quizzes lang for the whole sem and it was essays (I dont remember much). She wants a good written essay to give you a high score and an average will just give you a passing. In my experience there was barely any thing to grade, so every assessment matters. She doesnt return the works immediately and I didnt even see her comments on my assessments. Her class doesnt require recits, she just explains a lot with her slides. She’s okay, make sure to know what youre writing :) Just read a lot and study the materials in her gdrive you’ll be fine :))more

Took beato and quioge last year. If I’d compare the two of them def go for beato! :) Memorize and study the readings a lot, theyre both A-able with effort. Though in my experience it was hard for quiogue because we barely had any assessments and she has high standards in the essays (quizzes) so my grades were average and i didnt have any other chances to lift my grades higher. Quiogue doesnt return assessments immediately and I didnt get to know her feedbacks and comments since she was also taking care of her child alot that time and was busy. While comparing to Maam Beato, I like her teaching style more and she gives her opinions when you recite. She’s really thoughtful and insightful, she even gave us bonus activities to get extra points for the midterms. I had my departamental exam on both of them last year, and Beato is more lenient on grading the essays I can say. Whoever you chose i just advice you to read a lot, its rlly important. and in your assessments, memorize and explain yourself well on the essay parts since theyre both very critical on that :) goodluckmore

super A-able! took her during first sem n shes a rly nice prof. approachable and rly flexible with deadlines, rly understanding which i am thankful for huhu. we mostly had groupworks with only one individual paper i think. essays are super short lang sometimes with 500-1000/1500 word limit. classes are also pretty interesting imo. doesnt rly give grades on time but its usually very high once u get it back at the end of the sem. would recommend!more

Very very A-able. Thats all haha. During the sem I sometimes i forgot na i have this class pala lol. Manageable reqs but she wont give you grades lol we only received ours last jan 3 or 4 and it was all skyrocket high. Was I happy with the grade? Yes. Will i take her again if ever.... ermmm idkmore

Hi! Ma’am Quiogue is a so-so prof. Her teaching style doesn’t really require much recitation, and she talks for most of the meetings. Her exams are pretty simple and straightforward, more on memorization type rather than application. Usually has essays too. I think we had 1-2 group reports, and a big final paper. A major tip I’d give is to make sure you read the readings she assigns! She won’t really ask for recitation, but she can tell when the class isn’t prepared. Another thing, don’t get on her bad side. She can be kind, but she truly can also be intimidating if you don’t respect her. Best of luck!more

Had them all as profs, although I didn’t finish the sem with Quiogue since she gave birth. They’re all great profs and A-able. Imo, Beato can make the semester much bearable since she teaches well & makes the concepts easier to digest.more

had a bad time under quiogue and didn’t really learn much during her class. i enjoyed beato so much. the goat for real.
