heard that for his section this sem, it is a course that is partnering with an institution, and for those with required internships this sem, it can be accredited also for the internship. not sure if it is pushing through though!more

I took Sir Gerald last SY and I was his beadle and I can say he’s the best!!
As a fundamental course, the class seemed intimidating to me at first due to the unfamiliar concepts (and also the sheer amount of info you have to learn), but sir makes it so that you can easily understand them and and be able to follow during class.
You will be using SAP Signavio, which he will be providing access to. He usually demonstrates how to use it in class and is also available for consultations either during or after class.
For assessments, we had two Mini Projects, to be sumitted in the middle and near the end of the sem (which were kinda difficult tbh, but is done by groups), a short quiz, a paper, and one final exam.
Just be sure to pay attention in class, review the slides for (possible) surprise quizzes (which iirc almost never happened in our class) and for the final exam and you’ll be good to go!
He’s also quite lenient in terms of extending deadlines (but be sure to not abuse it tho!)
As for beadling duties, you’ll only have to relay announcements from him, relay concerns from the class (like asking for deadline extensions), and sometimes assisting him in Zoom during online classes.
I wouldn’t say he’s an easy A but it’s definitely doable! Also, some may not be applicable anymore if there are changes in the syllabus. Good luck!more

hi!! took this class w sir 2 yrs ago and all i can say is ur in great hands HAHAHSHSH i think kakabalik lang nya for teaching this class kasi he told us na kami yung last nyang hahawakan before taking a leave. the class is Business Process Re-Engineering, essentially teaching u how to document and model business processes using a standard notation (BPMN) and how to optimize those processes thru redesign or reengineering. quite a fun n useful course kasi youd be able to better visualize how processes in business go and how u could possibly improve upon them pa based on documented flowcharts and all that. we used a service called Signavio that time to do yung process flowcharts and sir gave us access mismo to that, pero u should also see other free flowcharting services online na kaya mag-BPMN.
in terms of reqs, we had exercises and case studies na magpapagawa ng flowcharts essentially, tapos meron ding final project and final exam. this was all online tho so might change a lot this time. pero for sir naman, sobra akong natutuwa pag class nya kasi ang chill at ang bait ni sir. i think he curved me also so ayun mas natuwa pa ko BAHSHSHDHHS
overall, would def reco this class w sir!! would also take any class under him again honestlymore
