[2018] Ms Roldan is a part time prof and she teaches very thorough and tries to explain things in an "anthropological perspective". However she may be boring at times especially if you had her in the high noon. Her tests are relatively light and tricky; usually from the readings but mostly from her discussions so pay attention. She is very accommodating and respects your ideas and insights shared in class. Grades pretty fair.

Hi! Our class had her last year but only online so if she’s onsite this time I’m not sure how accurate this would be The class for us was reading and discussion heavy, though I found the readings manageable and some of them enjoyable actually. Classes mostly consisted of groups discussing the readings using presentations, and sometimes maam would ask the class for their insights etc on groups’ presentations and the readings. Occasionally she would hold lectures, but tbh I didn’t find these useful The assessments consisted of presentations summarizing each module and a final integrated paper. All of these were done by group Tbh I felt were grading was kinda labo as groups would more or less get similar scores n maam didn’t rly give back feedback,, I’m not sure if consultations would help as our group never did them. Overall very easy B, jus do the assessments n you’ll be fine, not sure what advice to give to get higher than that tho 😅more
