Took zosa for a diff class and ure better off self studying... i think he curves though and grades relatively generously
positive
Zosa curves but he teaches poorly
negative
Mr. Zosa isn't really really bad but he tends to be boring while discussing. Survivable if you already know a bit of calculus prior and you keep practicing diligently. Some students have failed his class though.more

Happens but quite rare iirc. When it does, he would ask the beadle to pick.

Zosa isn't the best to learn from, but if you're confident enough in your abilities, you can definitely get a B/B+. He technically doesn't curve, but he does give bonus activities for bonus points that he'll add to exams. His tests are just a bit tricky, not because of the problems themselves, but because of the wording. He'll use the technical terms and whatnot I'm the exams, so just make sure you fully understand the lesson. The problems themselves are honestly pretty easy for the most part! Again, just make sure you're confident enough in your abilities, because self studying is what's gonna carry you. His examples in class do help a bit, but he speeds through them sometimes so you don't really have enough time to digest before he moves on.more

Anonymous member 959 graded recitation yes, but even if you get something wrong, it'll still count as +1 recitation point. He usually asks for volunteers, but if not, he'll ask the beadle to volunteer someonemore

Had Mam Pam Gatchalian for Zoology Lab! Super recommend her hehe she’s kind but sometimes she has a bit of a temper, don’t get on her bad side nalang or piss her off. Shes B+ to A-able, though this was around 2023 pa. Pero I heard you need more effort in her class to get an A. In a sense na mas mahirap na exams niya hehe. Overall, would get her again once given the chance!more

bump! does she fail students if their initial grade was F?
positiveBIO 10.01
i got ma'am pam gatchalian for bio 10.01 lec and ma'am maia garcia for lab. i enjoyed ma'am pam's class. she's very motherly and her quizzes are very objective type whereas ma'am maia was ok. i dread her long tests because there's a lot of content and memorization-heavy 😅 but she's nice!!more
