Had him this term and it was super super enjoyable! Expect lots of readings and an interesting approach to mental health! Sir Villanueva is the best and super approachable. Read the readings cuz honestly some of them are super interesting (and im not even a bookworm). Trust me, you’re in good hands :)))more

Upd: the best theo prof! Lots of recit but super manageable. We always did group works and ppts— you can get a B or A even with absent group mates. Theo 11 was def one of my top classes last sem, esp bc Sir was so knowledgeable about the psalms.more

Genuinely the nicest prof everrrr!!! Though he has random recitation at the start of the class but as long as you listen and take down notes ur practically goods! His assessments are basically reading the readings and writing a short paper about it but the questions usually ask for the major points of the reading itself:)
Honestly his class was really chill since we didn’t have exams aside from the final oral exam but all you really need for that is to make sure you listen and understand the readings (which you will as long as you take the reading papers srs)
Overall his class was probably one I really looked forward to despite not being super religious myself:3
Also just a tip, make sure to recite regularly! Since the questions he asks are related to the readings too it shouldn’t be too difficult. My class participation is what helped push my grade to an A instead of a B+
