Hello! I beadled for her class, and I can confidently say she’s a really lovely professor. A-able:) Easy B/B+
She makes learning Spanish genuinely fun. She’s very engaging and encourages a lot of recitation, which really helps you learn. Phones aren’t allowed, but laptops/tablets are.
She gives lots of discussion board activities, but they’re light and manageable. Just don’t use AI for them, because she WILL know. Her quizzes are fair: not too easy, not too hard, but you have to watch out for tiny wording details or one-letter mistakes. We also had group presentations and role-plays, which were actually pretty fun (like creatively presenting about celebrities in Spanish)
Her grading is very fair; you’ll understand exactly why you got the grade you did.
TL;DR: She’s a great professor if you genuinely want to learn Spanish. Not heavy, not too easy, just right. Expect around 3–5 easy discussion boards a week. I got an A in her class, and I honestly still remember how to speak Spanish because of her.more
